IRD Refund Scam!
Another batch of IRD Tax Refund spam emails are circulating around which attempt to trick recipients into divulging personal information. If you or anyone else receive a copy of the email below, just delete the email.
Inland Revenue will never send you a hyperlink in an email.
Dear Customer,
After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity, we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of 250.97 NZ Dollars.
Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 2-3 days in order to process it.
Click link below to submit your tax refund request.

Note : A refund can be delayed a variety of reasons, for example submitting invalid records or applying after deadline.
